Whether you are an employee of a church, camp or district, a plan administrator, or an employee of another organization,

What if I take no action?
While it is not necessary to confirm your benefits each year to maintain the coverage you have, we encourage you to: 

  1. Review your life insurance and long-term disability beneficiary designations to keep them current.
  2. Make sure your home mailing address is accurate. 

When will my new benefit elections become effective?
New rates and benefit changes take effect Jan. 1, 2025.

How long do I have to make changes?
You may make benefits changes through MyBenefitCHOICE as often as you wish through November 15, 2024.

Your current coverage will automatically renew. If you wish to make any changes, go to MyBenefitCHOICE.

If you have salary-based benefits, like long-term and/or short-term disability benefits, please be sure your employer completes the long-term and/or short-term worksheets and submits to insurance@eder.org.

If you want the January Bill Detail to reflect the updated salary for salary-based benefits, the updated forms must be submitted no later than mid-December since the recalculation happens on the 20th of each month for the next month.

You can find the following forms you need to complete here.

After completing all forms, return them to dbutcher@eder.org or mail to Eder Health and Life Benefits, 1505 Dundee Ave., Elgin, IL 60120. You can also fax the forms to 847-742-6336.

Next, Eder Financial will register you with our strategic partner, Milliman.

You will need to create an account with Milliman at MyBenefitCHOICE and enroll in your benefits.

As a plan administrator, you can find information that will help you navigate your way through open enrollment and beyond. 

Plan Administrators

The MyBenefitChoice (MBC) HR interface is your tool to access the information in the Milliman MBC system. It provides direct access to an employee’s enrollment information without going through the participant enrollment website. The HR interface also has robust reporting tools for you to summarize and report on your benefits data.  

The MBC system gives you quick access to the census, benefit and dependent election records, source of election (employee, HR, or system), election date and time, and beneficiary information.  

To access the MBC system, go to live.mybenefitchoice.com/HRInterface.

Your Benefits Guide provides the benefits you have available. To review your 2025 Benefits Guide, from the MyBenefitCHOICE homepage, choose Get Answers, then choose the Select button under Enrollment and EligibilityYou can find your 2025 benefits under the Annual Benefit Guide.

Log in or create a new account in the MyBenefitCHOICE enrollment website to verify your personal information, elect benefits, and ensure your beneficiaries are correct.  

You can also access the enrollment website from the Eder Financial menu. Select Health and Life Benefits, then Member Portal.

From this page go to Health and Life Benefits menu option at the top of this page, then select Member Portal.  

OR  

Log in directly to the MyBenefitCHOICE website.

 

 

 

 

Go to MyBenefitCHOICE.

  • At the top left of the page, under MyBenefitCHOICE, click the Register button.  

  • You’ll need your Social Security number, date of birth, and zip code.  

  • Create a username and password.  

  • Confirm your personal information, benefits, and beneficiaries.  

Next time you visit the website, you will enter your username and password on the login page to access your information.
