Retirement Benefits operations manager Lori Domich retires after providing 35 years of service to Eder Financial. Known for her sunny personality, she has always projected positive energy onto Eder customers, taking personal interest in each of them, remembering their families and even knowing the names of their pets. She has always seen situations through to the end and obtained the answers that were needed.

When members had questions about their benefits or needed a problem fixed, Lori is the one who cared for them. Alongside her strong people skills, she brings remarkable expertise with numbers, a keen eye for detail, and an impressive memory — able to recall specific transactions from years past.

Lori’s deep institutional knowledge and invaluable insights have left a lasting impact, and her contributions will be appreciated for years to come. During her long tenure, Eder changed recordkeepers twice and each time Lori was an anchor in preserving data integrity.

Lynnae Rodeffer, Vice President of Products and Services, said, “She has a tender and caring heart. She doesn’t want anyone to have a bad experience. She holds herself to a high standard and does her best to make sure everything is a hundred percent accurate and proper.”

Lori is a film and TV show buff and enjoys exchanging favorites with other staff. But probably the avocation she is best known for is her love of unusual birds. She has seven: two Cockatiels, one Cockatoo, one Lovebird, one Parrotlet, one Red Factor Sun Conure, and one Green Cheek Conure. In retirement she plans to add to this flock. She devotes a lot of time to caring for her birds and looks forward to having only one "full time job.” She also plans to start a vegetable garden, have coffee, go on daily walks with her husband, and spend time with her 93-year-old mother. She just wants “to live each day as it unfolds.”
